Sometime this week or maybe even last week James Cameron will make the first attempt in over fifty years to return to Challenger Deep, the deepest known point in all the world’s oceans. He will be making this trip with help from several others but technically speaking he will be taking on this mission alone. It is awesome to see someone so committed to their work. His sub will be bolted so there is absolutely no way for him to get out unless he gets found by rescue crews. Anyway check out this short video on the mission and James Cameron. this is truly epic.
